Today’s release is another solid batch of refinements and quality-of-life improvements, many of them driven directly by feedback from Secretaries and Treasurers in the field. As always, please do log in and have a play around.
In addition to this Developer Diary - system users will also receive this by email. We've developed an internal messaging tool, so we'll be able to let users know about updates that impact them directly, on an order-by-order basis.
Dining Cut-Offs
You can now set a cut-off date for event responses. Once that date passes, members can no longer respond via the links you’ve sent. This should help Secretaries lock numbers down with venues and caterers without chasing late replies.
Ballots – Multiple Responses
Ballots are no longer limited to simple Yes/No answers. You can now allow multiple selections — ideal for collecting menu choices or general feedback.
Ballot emails have also had a visual upgrade, with a properly formatted button rather than plain link text.
Dues Breakdown Report
You can now export a CSV summary showing a clear breakdown of Dues within your unit. This has been particularly useful for Treasurers who like to slice and analyse figures outside the system.
Delegate Email Signatures
Delegate users can now set their own email signatures and sender identities per unit, making communications clearer and more professional when multiple people are helping with admin.
Soft Delete for Members & Contacts
This one was born out of necessity. We’ve had a handful of cases where Members or Contacts were deleted accidentally and had to be restored from backups.
Now, deletions are soft — meaning they can be restored directly within the system if a mistake is made.
Reasons for Leaving & Retention Reporting
Retention matters. You can now record leaving reasons for Resigned, Excluded, Suspended or Ceased members.
There’s also a new report which includes these reasons alongside Deceased members, giving Lodges better insight into long-term trends.
Table Plan Improvements
This area has had some serious attention:
Table Plans can now be duplicated
Names can be added directly onto the floor plan
A new ‘standalone’ mode allows you to build a plan without linking it to an event at all
These changes came directly from Lodges running multiple similar events throughout the year.
Deceased members were still receiving emails when using Tags in the Emailer — now fixed
Some Resigned members were appearing in active lists — now resolved
Date formats (MM-DD-YYYY) are still causing issues. I genuinely thought this update would crack it, but I’m still seeing edge cases. This one is very much still being worked on — thank you for your patience.
Documentation has been updated alongside all of the above, so if anything is unfamiliar, the guidance should now reflect the new behaviour.
